Montevideo, Uruguay — At 9:00 a.m. on March 7, 2025, the Welcoming Ceremony was held for the invited delegations from various states of the United States, as well as from different regions of Uruguay, as part of the 2025 Holy Convocation in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The minister presiding over the ceremony, filled with enthusiasm and joy, invited the congregation to sing the hymn, “From the East and the West shall come people who do not know the Lord.” Following this, the much-anticipated fraternal reception began as the invited representatives were welcomed and invited to walk down the central aisle of The Light of the World temple, which was filled with faithful believers from both the United States and cities across Uruguay.
A Celebration of Faith and Brotherhood
As the honored guests waved their national banners while walking through the temple, the choir, composed of singers from different cities in the United States, joyfully sang the hymn, “Welcome, Welcome, We Rejoice to Say Welcome.” The congregation responded with praises and hallelujahs, filling the space with an atmosphere of faith and unity.
With visible joy and happiness, the delegates from the United States expressed their gratitude to the Almighty for allowing them to rejoice with their brethren in this beautiful Welcoming Ceremony. United in one spirit, they all joined in blessing the Creator.
After the international delegations entered the venue, the local delegations continued their procession, filled with emotion and tears in their eyes. The faithful from various cities across Uruguay proceeded through the central aisle, giving glory to God and expressing their gratitude to the Apostle of Jesus Christ for this heartfelt
