On Friday, February 14, 2025, congregations of The Light of the World celebrated the Welcome Ceremony for their most solemn festivity: the Holy Supper of the Lord Jesus Christ. This event took place in Cochabamba and brought together hundreds of families from the nine departments that make up Bolivia.
The religious welcome ceremony was held at the temple located at Melchor Pérez de Olguin Avenue 1116 in Cochabamba, a beautiful city in the valley region that has served as a space for prayer and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over three decades.
Participants traveled from La Paz, Oruro, and Potosà in the Altiplano, as well as Santa Cruz, Beni, and Pando in the Llano, along with Chuquisaca, Tarija, and Cochabamba in the Valle. They heeded the apostolic call to celebrate this sacred memorial with great love.
Carrying flags and banners from their hometowns, delegates joyfully marched down the central aisle, emotional and thankful, while the assembled congregation glorified God for enabling this beautiful gathering.
Attendees embraced each other in fraternal love, exchanging spiritual blessings in Spanish, Quechua, and Aymara, the local dialects.
