The most anticipated moment for the congregations of faith of The Light of the World arrived, the moment to partake of the Holy Supper established by our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the Hermosa Provincia neighborhood, at exactly 4 p.m., the Holy Supper service began, convoked by the apostolic authority. With hymns and prayers, the thousands gathered gave glory to God and commemorated the glorious sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ for the love of humanity. The choir from the different Mexican states present sang hymns to Jesus Christ, filling the atmosphere with an environment of solemnity.
The climax of the celebration arrived when the apostolic envoy blessed the bread that represents the body of Christ: “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’” (Matthew 26:26). Immediately after, the ministers distributed the bread to the thousands of faithful gathered in the Holy Convocation.
Then came the moment of blessing to partake of the fruit of the vine, which represented the blood of Christ: “In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.’” (1 Corinthians 11:25).
The Holy Supper provides a new opportunity for communion with God and His Son Jesus Christ. By participating in the sacred memorial, the faithful once again find perfect peace in their spiritual lives and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and unity.
Thus, the congregations of faith of The Light of the World, present in Hermosa Provincia, celebrated the Holy Supper of our Lord Jesus Christ on August 14, 2025.
