On August 6, 2025, as part of the Holy Convocation uniting congregations from northeastern Mexico, a solemn baptism ceremony took place in Monterrey.
The service was held at the House of Prayer in the Niño Artillero neighborhood of Monterrey, Nuevo León. Hundreds of believers gathered to witness this significant moment. At 10:00 a.m., the baptismal candidates entered the waters one by one, where authorized ministers invoked the name of Jesus Christ. This act marked the beginning of their spiritual journey as new believers.
Thousands of attendees looked on as the candidates professed their faith, were baptized, and made a personal commitment to serve God and live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through this, they were welcomed into the Body of Christ, the Church of the Lord.
These newly baptized members will now participate in the Holy Supper on August 7, the sacred memorial established by our Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 22:19), having been fully reconciled with God. For them, this moment represents the start of a life filled with communion, faithfulness, and hope in Christ.
In Monterrey, there is celebration. God’s grace continues to call hearts, the Faith continues to grow, and the Gospel fulfills its purpose in those who believe. The promises of God are alive, bringing blessing, transformation, and lasting peace.
